What we do

From the entrance exam to admission

Preparing for a Studienkolleg happens in several stages. We are a small team and we accompany applicants through each of them: the entrance exam, the year at the Kolleg, the Feststellungsprüfung and the paperwork.

Entrance exam

Maths and physics for the Aufnahmetest. The focus is on the topics that most often decide the outcome. Online, one-to-one or in a small group.

FSP & Klausuren

For students already at a Studienkolleg: preparation for the Feststellungsprüfung and support with current Klausuren in maths and physics.

German

One-to-one lessons with a German-language specialist with substantial teaching experience.

School & Gymnasium

Maths and physics for pupils at German schools and Gymnasien. We work on closing gaps in understanding, not just on the grade.

Documents & application

Our assistant advises on the application procedure and on what institutions require. We help with the motivation letter and the Lebenslauf.

We learn to read German task wording with confidence and to set out a solution properly. Separately: how to stop losing marks for nothing — planning your time, pacing yourself, and using the specific methods expected in German exam practice.

Guided and independent problem solving

The first tasks are worked through together, the rest on your own, using Studienkolleg material and past exam papers.

After the lesson you receive study material and homework, which is then marked and the mistakes discussed.

About preparing for the Studienkolleg

A Studienkolleg is a preparatory college in Germany for international applicants whose school certificate does not grant direct entry to a university. To get in you have to pass an entrance exam, and to finish you have to pass the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP). Our team helps you through both stages.
For the Studienkolleg entrance exam (Aufnahmetest) in maths and physics, and for the Feststellungsprüfung and current Klausuren if you are already enrolled. Separately: German lessons and help with application documents.
We teach maths and physics through German terminology and German task wording, the way the exam itself works. Explanations can be in Russian or German, whichever suits the student. Communication and materials are available in both languages.
A one-to-one lesson for Studienkolleg preparation costs €40 per hour; for students already at a Kolleg (FSP and Klausuren) €42 per hour; for school pupils €32 per 45 minutes. An admissions consultation is €100 for 1.5 hours. Access to the task bot is €9.95 for 30 days.

The tasks are checked by hand, not collected at random from the internet. Independent work complements lessons well, but does not fully replace them: going through mistakes and learning to set out a solution properly is easier with a teacher.
First you choose a Studienkolleg and a suitable course type, then you apply (directly or through uni-assist) and sit the entrance exam (Aufnahmetest), usually in maths and German. Once admitted you study for one or two semesters and take the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP). We help you prepare for the entrance exam and for the FSP in maths and physics.
The course type depends on your intended degree: the T-course is for technical and engineering subjects, the M-course for medicine and biology, the W-course for economics, the G-course for the humanities and the S-course for languages. We prepare students for all of these directions.
