Privacy Policy

Processing of personal data under the GDPR

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is:

Studienkolleg Vorbereitung

Georgia, Tbilisi, Samgori district, Police I dead end, N5, floor 1, N4

E-Mail: help@studienkolleg-vorbereitung.de

2. General information

We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable law. This website is a static information site. We aim to collect as little data as possible.

3. Hosting and server log files

The site is hosted on a server in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. On every request the server automatically records technical data in log files, which your browser transmits by default:

This data is required to display the site and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the technically secure operation of the site. Logs are normally deleted within a few days.

4. Cookies

This website uses no cookies and employs no web analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics). Fonts are served from our own server, as is the KaTeX library used to display mathematical formulas. No content is loaded from third-party servers, so no data about you is transmitted to third parties when you browse the site. A cookie consent banner is therefore not required. The only exception is your own choice of colour theme, which is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted anywhere.

5. Contact by e-mail and Telegram

If you contact us by e-mail or Telegram, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, message content) in order to reply and to discuss possible cooperation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The data is kept for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry.

Please note: Telegram is a third-party service (Telegram FZ-LLC). If you contact us via Telegram, its privacy policy applies in addition to ours.

6. Notification about the launch of the practice tool

On the test pages you can leave a contact detail (e-mail, phone or Telegram name — your choice) so that we can tell you when the practice tool launches. This is not a newsletter: we write once, about the very thing you asked about, and we do not use the contact for advertising or any other message. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the address above; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. The contact is deleted immediately after the notification, and in any case no later than 12 months if the launch does not take place.

The enquiry reaches us via Telegram, so what is said about Telegram in section 5 applies as well.

7. Our Telegram bots

The site links to our Telegram bots (for example the bot with practice tasks). Interaction with the bots takes place inside the Telegram platform, where we process the data needed to provide access to tasks and services. Use of the bots is voluntary.

8. Payments (once activated)

Once card payments via the provider Keepz are enabled, your payment data will be processed by that provider as an independent controller. We do not store your card details. This section will be completed with the provider's exact details when payments go live.

9. Data transfers to third countries

The controller is located in Georgia (a country outside the EU). Your enquiries may be processed in Georgia. We ensure that processing complies with the requirements of the GDPR.

10. Your rights

With regard to your personal data you have the right to:

To exercise these rights, write to us at the e-mail address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The current version is always available on this page.
